This ‘92 Wild Strawberry Metallic LX is another fine example of a clean, well done Fox body. Sporting big 18” Bullitt style wheels all around, and a Mickey Thompson 315/18” Drag radial neatly tucked into the stock inner rear wheel well and fender openings. Aside from the special edition wing, the rest of the exterior is stock appearing.
The interior is all stock too.
Under the hood its equipped with an original stock 5.0L short block that is now topped off with a set of TFS twisted wedge cylinder heads that are pretty much out of the box. The cam has been replaced by the popular FRP cam known as the “F303”. It has 1.6 roller rockers along with hardened TFS specific length pushrods. The intake is an Edlelbrock Performer RPM-II and the Throttle body is a 75mm. The supercharger responsible for the 10spi of boost it’s being fed -- is a Vortech V-2, S-trim unit. It has 60lbs injectors, a single SVT Focus pump in the tank, Power-pipe and a modern 90mm Mass-air unit. The exhaust has 1-5/8’s long tubes with a complete 2.5” system.
The suspension consist of lowering springs, Tokico adjustable struts, and upgraded rear control arms. The rear axle’s internals have been upgraded to an Eaton posi with 3.73 gears.
On the dyno with only 10psi of boost it has made just over 500 Rear wheel Horsepower on unleaded 93 octane gas.
